Haigh Communications has done a tremendous job in handling public relations for the QEH. They executed an organized plan to empathize with the public’s distress caused due to the renovation of the Accident & Emergency Department by implemented the following:
- Site Visit to Review Progress and Observe Public Interaction with Site Inconveniences.
- Collection of Transformational Media
- Site Meeting
- Site Visit to Collect Data with respect to External Waiting Area
- Preparation of PR Proposal to engage staff and public through QEH TV, Social Media, and revision of appointment systems and medical services provisions.
- All temporary signage advising different removed and traffic signs reverted.
- I/P: Housekeeping were to replace chairs in waiting area for visitors/patients
- Give Periodic Updates to the Progress of Accident and Emergency Building
- Responsible for Public Service Announcements
A&E has been reinstated to its regular place of operation but it doesn’t stop there Haigh Communication personally visited the construction site to assess the changes/disruptions in Jan 2021 and Feb 2021 and prepared PSAs accordingly. This in itself shows their effectiveness in handling public relations and marketing.
